Mrs Irene Meadows
Darling gran, we lost you a year ago tomorrow. In the first wave, pneumonia took you. I wasn’t allowed to see you, I begged, but i was just your granddaughter and they wouldn’t let me. In our last talk, I told you I loved you before you hung up, your last words were about how proud you were of my children. This year without you has been hell. I’ll always ache that I couldn’t be with you, but you are in our hearts, always, and go on in me and the children. I hope I’ll make you proud. Love you xxx
