Vince Hanley
Vince and I first met in the early seventies, when were at university together. As a non-literary scholar myself, I learnt a lot from Vince about the writing of essays and seminar papers, which helped me a great deal in the course.
In the early years Vince, Odette, my wife an I, and our respective children often met socially in Seaford where Vince and Odette lived, or at my home in Newhaven.
Over the years, we have kept in contact through pub lunches, and meeting in our homes. I will miss him.
